Property Description

This Villa is a prime example of Palladian architecture situated in the very area where Andrea Palladio operated. It was built in Sarcedo in 1764 by Count Orazio Claudio Capra.

This style takes its name from the architect Andrea Palladio, who adhered to the principles of classical Roman, in opposition to the so garish Renaissance style.

Situated in Sarcedo just outside Vicenza this highly historical property benefits from stables and viands planed with DOC vines.

The magnificent Villa Capra Bassani, currently used for weddings and important events,  has been immaculate and kept in its original state during the years; this includes original marble floors, frescos, and sculptures.
