The restoration
The current owner of this apartment embarked on painstaking restoration spree that lasted more than five years. A team of four professional restorers has brought all the frescoes back to their original splendor. Frescoes in the old wing of the apartment dating 1300s, while the frescoes in the new wing 1700s; moreover all floors and internal doors are still original dating 1700s.

The grand staircase, which leads from the foyer of the main entrance of the apartment, has been completely redone in Biancone marble. The wrought iron railings, also 1700s original, have also been finely restored by a local craftsman.

In the foyer of the apartment main entrance, 34 “Formelle” (Framed ornamental pattern/small panel ) have been carefully placed as a welcoming gesture to what is to come jet. The “Formelle” are artworks sculpted by the artist Federico Severino representing the Hell of the “Divine Comedy” written by Dante.
